this skirt is one of my spoils from UAL.  one of the girls there wanted me to buy it so she would't be tempted...so i tried it on during mine & constance's dressing room frenzy...and i had to get it! great fit, comfortable, retailed for over $300, and awesome gold stud detailing (that also kind of looks like polka dots, which you probably know by now i am obsessed with). it was a no-brainer!

also, i've had this vintage missoni blouse for many years, and it still gets worked into my wardrobe rotation from time to time.  i love the multicolor abstract leopard pattern, and i really love what a deal i got on it! i know it's from a consignment store in nashville, but unfortunately it's been so long that i can't remember where. (i really frequent only three in town: my sister's closet, designer finds, and designer renaissance- they are all awesome!)

also, i think it's time to share the stud behind the lens, my husband chris.  he's a super stylish dude so i plan on sharing more of his sartorial choices in future blog posts! and little does he know, i also plan on borrowing (stealing) this j.crew shirt he's wearing for myself soon!

one of my dear friends, constance, was visiting this weekend from nyc, and we had a great time shopping and eating our way through the city!  on saturday we ventured out to elmington park to eat the grilled cheeserie, which was delicious and amazing as usual.  we also found some great things at UAL that i can't wait to share more on soon!

i was excited to pick up this wool cape at the urban outfitters after christmas sale for a sweet $35.  especially considering i had been admiring it for $228. some capes are hard to wear, but this one fits well and works over dresses and pants!

i know this is old news, but target's frye boots knockoffs are genius! i have them in both brown and black, and they are super comfy, good quality, and look a whole lot like the real thing for $59. they're not sold in stores anymore, but you can still buy them online in both colors!
